Your 2026 CAVA Board Members
CAVA Board Members serve a two-year term in their roles, and may elect to continue as a board member after their term. Board members are instrumental in both planning and executing the monthly skill builders, the bi-annual networking events, and the annual 1-day conference.

President: Mykayla Kroeger, CVA
Mykayla Kroeger, is the Director of Volunteer Engagement at La Soupe, where she leads the strategy, recruitment, and support of a dynamic volunteer program that advances the organization’s mission to reduce food waste and food insecurity. She holds a Certification in Volunteer Administration (CVA), the only internationally recognized professional certification in volunteer management.
With over 10 years of nonprofit experience, including roles with Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden, Cincinnati Museum Center, Girl Scouts of Western Ohio, and Cincinnati Arts Association, Mykayla brings deep expertise in volunteer management, program development, and education.
She has been an active member of CAVA since 2019 and joined the board in 2020 as the Public Relations Chair and now sits as the President of the board. Mykayla also is a Governor-appointed Commissioner for the Ohio Commission on Service and Volunteerism and sits on the ServeOhio Volunteerism Conference planning committee.

Vice President: Ebony Pratt, MPA
Ebony has been a member of CAVA since she moved to Cincinnati in 2021. Ebony graduated from the Master of Public Affairs program at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, with a concentration in Non-Profit Management. Born and raised in North Carolina, Ebony relocated to Cincinnati in June 2021 to work at Lydia’s House, and is now the Volunteer Manager for CityLink. Ebony enjoys pilates & yoga, bargain shopping, and attending church. Before returning back to school, Ebony worked in the non-profit field as a community engagement specialist and volunteer manager in the Triad area. Ebony is passionate about working with volunteers and within the community. Ebony is excited to continue serving on the Board as the Vice President.

Professional Development: Monica Keller
Monica is the Director of Volunteer Engagement for the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati, and has been serving the CAVA Board since December 2024. After growing up in the Chicago area, she lived in Indiana during college and post-grad before moving to Cincinnati in 2021. After receiving her degree in education and public health, Monica transitioned to nonprofit work, specifically working in youth programming at multiple Boys & Girls Clubs in Indiana and Ohio. In her free time, you can find her reading, doing various arts projects, or playing trumpet at FC Cincinnati matches. Monica is dedicated to promoting social responsibility, healthy living, and building lasting strong relationships. She is excited to serve the CAVA Board and help volunteer administrators connect across Cincinnati.

Continuing Education: Taylor Young
Taylor is Program Manager, Store & Volunteers at Crayons to Computers. After graduating in 2021 with a degree in Economics from the University of Louisville, she began at Crayons as Volunteer Coordinator in August 2021 and began the new role in May 2024. Her experience working with various non-profits in college inspired her to pursue this career track. After starting in a volunteer management role, she can't imagine herself doing anything different. Outside of work, she serves on the Young Professionals Board for Cincinnati Youth Collaborative and volunteers weekly at Saturday Hoops at the Lincoln Recreation Center. She is excited to continue as Continuing Education Chair for the CAVA board, and has enjoyed making connections in the community.

Continuing Education: Isabelle Booker
Isabelle Booker has called Cincinnati home for the past six years. Her journey in the city began with volunteering at the Civic Garden Center, which sparked her passion for nature, community building, and service. She served as the Volunteer Coordinator for Heartland Hospice, where she supported a team of over 35 volunteers and fostered meaningful connections through service. Isabelle is now transitioning into the Program Coordinator role at the University of Cincinnati Recreation Center, where she is eager to inspire students to discover the power and value of volunteering. In her free time, she loves being outdoors, exploring neighborhoods, trying new restaurants and coffee shops, working out, traveling, gardening, cooking, antique shopping, and spending time with friends and family. She is dedicated to fostering community connections and helping others find joy in service.

Public Relations: Danielle Pratt
Danielle joined the CAVA Board in 2024 as the Public Relations Chair. A Northern Kentucky native, she’s passionate about building strong connections between volunteers and organizations to create lasting community impact.
Danielle graduated from Northern Kentucky University in 2018 with a degree in Organizational Leadership and Communications. She’s worked with volunteers at the Bill and Betsy Scheben Care Center and St. Elizabeth Healthcare, and now serves as the Volunteer Manager and HR Coordinator at Greenacres Foundation. In her role, she oversees volunteer programs and supports HR efforts to strengthen community engagement.
Outside of work, Danielle enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her family. She’s excited to continue supporting CAVA’s mission and advancing volunteerism in the region!

Treasurer: Joe Von Allmen
Joe Von Allmen is a Volunteer Engagement Specialist for Great Parks of Hamilton County, primarily coordinating volunteer project for community and corporate groups. Joe is a graduate of Northern Kentucky University with a degree in Organizational Leadership. He has worked with various environmental nonprofits in the past, including Cincinnati Parks and Cincinnati Nature Center. Joe is an alumnus of the AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps. His time working with various environmental nonprofits on the west coast inspired him to pursue a career in the public sector, specifically working with volunteers. Throughout this pursuit Joe has worked in many different fields and has gained an eclectic collection of experiences before returning to the organization he interned with many years ago. Joe is very excited be part of the CAVA board and make more connections within the nonprofit network of the Cincinnati area.
