September Skill Builder: Cultural Competency

In this presentation, we will lean into data, details and decisions surrounding equitable and inclusive volunteer pools. Participants can expect to leave with at least one new connection, one new skill and one new data point they can use when pitching opportunities to potential volunteers.

Speaker bio: Ashleigh is a Cincinnati native who attended Miami University of Ohio for undergrad, completing her Bachelor of Science in Family Studies with a minor in Criminology. Ashleigh’s first job after college was her move to Guangzhou, China to work for Lion King International. Upon her arrival back to the US, she moved to Rochester, New York where she obtained a Masters in Higher Education. She then spent time working in higher education at Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio as the Asst. Director for Diversity, and Inclusion.
